The renovation/ addition of facilities at the Boys’ Hostel is a big step towards improving on-campus quality of life. The additions include a Student Lounge, TV Room, Laundry, Prayer area, Tuck shop, offices and a staff residence block. The dining hall, kitchen, corridors and toilets facilities and finishes have been upgraded to the international standards. The internal and external façade of the building has been developed keeping in view the orientation of the building and with permanent finishes requiring minimum maintenance. The internal courtyard has been designed around the Student Lounge and TV Room pavilion floating over a reflecting pool. It encourages the use of the courtyard, which has been sensitively landscaped preserving the existing trees and plantation. External development includes paving, parking areas, land development and refurbishment of boundary wall.
